Austria v Scotland key battles
Scotland had scored once in four games without a victory before defeating Moldova and goals remain the problem for Clarke’s limited attack.
More concerning is that they have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last nine competitive away games and it is 3/1 that they do so in Vienna.
Marko Arnautovic has been involved in 13 goals in his last 15 appearances for Austria in all competitions, scoring nine and assisting four.
The former West Ham striker is going to be a handful for Scotland’s defence and with Austria hoping to avoid a third straight shut-out at home – something that has not happened since 2008 – Arnautovic may be the key man for Franco Foda’s side.
