Bayern Munich favourites to retain Champions League title

Bavarians 11/4 to win the Champions League in back-to-back seasons

Defending champions Bayern Munich remain the 11/4 favourites to retain their Champions League title this season after the Round of 16 draw was made.

Hansi Flick’s side face Lazio in the next round, while Manchester City have been cut to 4/1 to win their first Champions League title after being drawn against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Bayern Munich are the favourites to retain the Champions League this year and their last sixteen draw will only provide more confidence for punters backing the holders to do it once more.”

Elsewhere, Liverpool are now 6/1 to reclaim the trophy they won in 2019 after being drawn against RB Leipzig, while Chelsea are 16/1 with a tricky tie against joint La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid.

“Manchester City are 4/1 to finally win the tournament for the first time and that makes them the second favourites to lift the trophy, whilst Chelsea have drifted in the betting after a tricky draw,” added Aitkenhead.

Barcelona take on Paris Saint-Germain in what could be the tie of the round, while Real Madrid play Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund are up against Sevilla.
