Europa Conference League betting tips: Spurs heavy favourites

Preview and odds for Thursday’s games

The UEFA Europa Conference League sees 16 games take place in matchday two on Thursday and we look at a selection of those matches in our Europa Conference League betting tips.

Tottenham v NS Mura

Tottenham’s three 1-0 Premier League wins to start the season have been followed by three successive defeats in which they have conceded three times in each.

The latest of those came at the hands of Arsenal as the Lilywhites went down 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The odds suggest that Spurs should have no trouble winning their Europa Conference League clash against NS Mura, however.

Tottenham, who were held to a 2-2 draw by Rennes on matchday one, are 1/11 to beat a side in NS Mura who have lost their last three games in European competitions (including qualifiers) after losing only two of the previous nine.

The Slovenian side suffered a 2-0 home defeat by Vitesse Arnhem in their opening Group G game and are 40/1 to win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The draw is on offer at 17/2, but none of Tottenham’s last 20 home games in the group stage of European competitions have seen a draw (W16 L4); they have won their last five home group games but have never won more in succession in those group stages.

Feyenoord v Slavia Prague

Feyenoord have been in fine domestic form and sit third in the Eredivisie after a 5-3 win over NEC on Saturday, their third Dutch top-flight win in a row.

Having been held to a 0-0 draw by Maccabi Haifa in Israel on matchday one, Arne Slot’s side will hope to beat Slavia Prague in Rotterdam.

Feyenoord, who are evens to win, have won their last three home games in European competitions (including qualifiers) but have not won more in succession since 2014. They have scored 11 goals in those last three wins and conceded only two goals.

In contrast, Slavia Prague have won only three of their 22 away games in the group stage of European competitions (D9 L10) and have managed just four clean sheets in that span. It is 5/2 that they win and 15/4 that they keep Feyenoord scoreless in the Europa Conference League betting tips.

The visitors top the group following their 3-1 win over Union Berlin and have subsequently won all three of their Czech top-flight games, scoring 13 goals in the process. They have, however, conceded in each of their last seven competitive games and it is 8/13 that both sides score.

Feyenoord are winless against Czech teams in all European competitions (D2 L4) and were unable to score in all those four defeats. It is 12/5 that the game ends in a draw.

Vitesse v Rennes

Vitesse top Group G following their 2-0 win at NS Mura and are 21/10 to follow up with another win against French opponents Rennes.

The hosts have won just one of their six matches against French teams in European competitions (D1 L4).

Rennes, who held Spurs to a 2-2 draw on matchday one, have lost 16 of their last 17 away games in the group stages of European competition, failing to score in eight of those 17 games – including the last three – and they have never scored more than one goal in the other nine games.

Rennes are 6/5 to win, while the draw is available at 11/5 in the Europa Conference League betting tips.
