Norwich v Leicester betting tips: Vardy looks to end barren road spell
Preview and odds for Saturday’s Premier League clash
The Canaries and Foxes are both coming into Saturday’s Premier League clash after a mauling as we look at some Norwich v Leicester betting tips.
Norwich are bottom of the table after losing their first two games, while Leicester are seeking their first away win of the season after a heavy defeat at West Ham on Monday.
Saturday’s match, which takes place at Carrow Road, kicks off at 3pm.
Norwich v Leicester match odds
It has not been a pleasant Premier League return for Norwich fans, who have seen their side comprehensively beaten 3-0 at home by Liverpool and 5-0 away at champions Manchester City.
The fixture list has not been kind to the Canaries, with the FA Cup winners their next opponents, and Norwich are the 16/5 underdogs to gain their first victory of the season.
Goals have been a frustration for Daniel Farke’s side, who have not scored more than once in any of their last 20 Premier League games, since a 2-2 draw with Tottenham in December 2019. Consequently, it is 2/1 that Norwich score two or more goals in this game.
Leicester started their campaign with a 1-0 win at home to Wolves but were brought down to earth at West Ham on Monday, losing 4-1 after Ayoze Perez was dismissed late in the first half for a nasty stamp on Pablo Fornals’ ankle after the Spaniard took a heavy touch and lunged in.

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side have won five of their last six away league games against promoted sides, with the only exception in that run being a 1-0 loss at Norwich in February 2020.
Norwich v Leicester head-to-head
Norwich have lost just one of their last seven home league meetings with Leicester (W4 D2), going down 2-1 in October 2015. Norwich’s final league win in the 2019-20 campaign was against the Foxes (1-0). It is 19/20 that the Canaries either win or draw the game on the Double Chance market.
Farke’s side have lost their last 12 Premier League matches, scoring just once and conceding 32 goals across these defeats. Leicester are 12/5 to win to nil.
Norwich v Leicester key battles
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has been going through a lean spell. He has not scored in any of his last 11 Premier League away games since scoring twice against Spurs in December 2020.
His last such lengthy barren spell was a 12-game run without netting over six years ago.
Vardy, who is 13/10 to score at any time and 7/2 to score the first goal, will spearhead a Leicester attack that has won their last five meetings with sides in the relegation zone by an aggregate score of 13-1.
