The National Basketball Association is the professional Basketball league contested in North America. The NBA is considered to be the pinnacle of the sport with the world’s most elite players competing in the league for the Larry O’Brien trophy.
The league is formed of 30 teams which are split into two conferences, Eastern and Western. In those conferences, there are three divisions, each of which have a title to be won during the season.
The three divisions the Eastern Conference is formed of are the Atlantic Division, Central Division and Southeast Division. In the Western Conference, you can find the Northwest Division, Pacific Division and Southwest Division.
The regular season is usually formed of 82 games, before the top 16-teams, eight from the Eastern Conference and eight from the Western Conference, compete in the Playoffs, which are a series of best-of-seven knockout games.
Once the league has been whittled down to the best Eastern Conference team and the best Western Conference team, the NBA Finals will take place, which is another best-of-seven series, where the winner will be named the NBA Champions.
The 2020 NBA Champions were Los Angeles Lakers, where LeBron James and co. defeated Miami Heat 4-2 in the NBA Finals to win their first NBA Championship in 10 years.
During the regular NBA season and throughout the Playoffs, we have a range of odds and outright, pre-match and In-Play markets for you to make your pick from, as well as a selected range of specials including NBA MVP Winners and more.
Thought of as the final step on the ladder before reaching the NBA, the NCAA Men’s Division is the elite College Basketball league, with many players going on to be selected in the NBA Draft after graduation.
With a huge following in America, and ever-increasing interest from across the world, the annual NCAA Division I tournament, commonly known as ‘March Madness’, sees 68 teams contesting in a tournament over one month to reach the ‘Final Four’.
In the ‘Final Four’, the best team in each of the four regions goes up against one another to make it to the Finals, where the winner will become the College Basketball Champions that season.
The most successful team are the UCLA Bruins, representing the University of California Los Angeles, with 11 tournament wins to their name. Baylor Bears are the most recent champions, winning their first NCAA title at their second attempt, beating Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Before the NCAA tournament gets underway, we’ll have a host of outright odds for you to make your pick on, and once the tournament gets underway, we’ll have pre-match and In-Play markets for you to enjoy.
Europe’s equivalent to the NBA, the EuroLeague is the top-tier of professional Basketball in the continent, with 18 teams competing in a league format to become champions.

The league’s most successful team are Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants winning 10 league titles in their history. The EuroLeague is also another route for European players in particular to shine and embark on their path to the NBA.
In recent years, one of the most notable players to have featured in the EuroLeague was Slovenian point guard Luka Doncic, who was a first-round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, going from Real Madrid to Dallas Mavericks.
As the season takes shape, we’ve got outright markets on this year’s EuroLeague Winner to make your pick from at Coral, as well as a range of pre-match markets on individual matches, plus In-Play betting too.
